Considering buying a used 500SL, 2001. Any guidance? also, what is the "Sport" designation on the '99 mean?

any problems putting 18, 8.5's and 9.5 wheels staggered) on a 500sl? also what does the possible extra weight of 20's do to the handling and suspension?

the shorter the sidewall the rougher the ride. handling will be tighter, but u will feel every pebble in the road and no give when hitting potholes. I went from 16's to 18's and noticed a big difference in the feel of the road. for me, 20's would be a bit much.
