Having problem with the front latch on the convertible top won't release, and also the drivers side window will not go down. Both problems occurred at the same time, and may be related to the relay computer mechanism that is located in the well behind the passenger seat. When using the switches, both will only click the unit, and then not operate. Could that part be faulty or can it be somehwnere else.

Fix your window and the top will work.Try tapping on the door panel(right around the handle)with one hand while usung the switch with the other.

 

Still not working, but more info. All this happened after a hugh day of rain and car was left outside, with rain hitting the driver side door. The inside of the driver door could also be still damp. May need to get completely dry first, maybe??!!

 

Are the windows synchronized? If not, do so.
