SL 320 hard top removal
Hello to you all, I have a merc SL320 convertible, the hardtop roof will not budge.
As I look at the interior lights the following is evident.
Main lever for roof on centre console is permenatly lit?
The roll bar switch on the centre panel is also lit?
There are no beep sound now either.
I have disconnected the battery and reset widows as indicated in simialr issues posted on this site.
Can the hard top be removed manually, if so, please explain how before I take a can opener to it. many thanks for you assistance

You'll also need the so-called 'special tool' that should be in the toolkit in the trunk. If missing, they're available at the dealer for $12-$15.
