Hi All!
Just joined after lurking for a while as I looked for a nice SL. The knowledge found in this forum is very helpful, thanks to all of you. I just purchased a 1999 SL500 and noticed a small mostly clear substance on the floor. It smells like oil, but is that possible since the source is at the rear of the car, next to the gas tank. Any help/advice from one of you experts is most welcome. I attached a picture.
