Default please i need help real bad

to all of expert. i am new to this forum. i just got the sl 500 2005.
some how the license plate light bulb 1 of them is burned out. i got the part already, but i could not change it, actually i dont know how. please help me, i asked the shop and it costs me almost 200 to do it. i am so dumb

Should just be 2 phillips screws holding the cover on and then pull the bulb out and put the new one in. Unless you are changing the unit. Some can be changed by poping it out from the outside and others you have to go in through the inside of the trunk lid. Shouldn't be to hard to just a bulb. I can't beliave they want 200 dollars to change it.

If it has the 2 screws and still feels tight once they are removed you may need to use a hook and give it a little tug from the corner.

to all experts. i was trying the way you have been show me already but some how there is another like mirror cover the bulb. should i try to pull them out too or i have to open from inside the trunk.
please help me to the end.
