Motor mounts

I'm going to do motor mounts on a SL 500. Any tips?

I used a piece of a 4X6 just long enough to go past the width of the pan. Laid it flat on a floor jack and lifted the engine just enough to take the weight off the engine mounts and replaced one side at a time.

Thanks. Is it the same type of procedure for the trans. mount?
