Default mercedes sl 280 r129 1996 passenger window problem

Hi,has anyone had a problem with their passenger window going down on its own without the rocker switch being activated.using the rocker switch may or may not activated the window again to raise it.[mostly not]. Also both windows are not dropping the normal quarter of an inch when you go to close the doors.Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I too have a similar issue
98 model SL 2800
Drivers door window will not drop when opened. retracts Ok with the toggle switch, but will not stop at the top without a loud clunking noise.
Failed micro switch?
Is a blown Fues silky to de activate the micro switch?
The hood will not retract fully into its compartment , stopping after the windows retract, and the rear section of the hood is raised.
Would a star diagnostic likely to show what the issue is??

I found this post, but when I went to reset in the up position, the mechanism made a hell of a noise, so count complete the procedure...

Hopefully you can repair it with this resetting:
You will need to perform this on both of your windows.
Turn ignition to the accessories position..
open the window approx half way.
Press the switch to close the window, but do not press it all the way down(that would activate the one touch feature)
once window has closed, keep pressing on the switch for 10 seconds.
Release the switch and repeat the exact same procedure for rolling the window down.
