92 500sl - I have replaced all the seals for cylinders by sending them to Top Hydraulics and they did excellent work and now no leaks in any cylinders so top now goes up and down without any issues but the distribution box which sits in the middle of the frame for the windshield directly above the mirror and interior lights now is leaking.
Is there any material or sealant which one has found to work in these situations that I can use to stop this leak and prevent the fluid from leaking through the light sockets onto my console.

Very aggravating and my trying to just disconnect and reconnect the lines to box does nothing to stop the leak.

have you traced exactly where the leak is coming from? maybe a seat was damaged when putting the lines back in the distributor. might see if you can find an extra small O-ring or lets say maybe a small amount of rtv black applied to the bottom of the crimp on the hydraulic line. wait till dry. don't want to contaminate the system with rtv. I don't know if a rtv sealant or gasket maker will hold under the pressure. if distributor is cracked all bets are off. might check on a new one.
