ran into parking lot curb cracked the lower spoiler ,it's only fiber glass but cost $ 950.00 to replace $600.00 to repair I'm leaning to the repair ?

 

Without a picture or description it's difficult to say whether the prices you've gotten are fair and reasonable. Having said that, When I cracked the 'spoiler' on my SL500, that repair was $300.

At the very least, shop this repair for comparative prices/references.

thanks bob I will , but it's cracked all the way through ,even the plastic under tray came down while at speed dragged at 80 mph ,you should have heard the sick sound .The air must have gotten between it and torn it off , can't believe my luck!

 

mb wants $ 1400.00 just for the part no paint or labor !!!My god! I'm getting it repaired tomorrow plus 1 scratch for $ 600.00

 

it's repaired , the guy did a good job!I will now only back into parking spots!
