I have about 4 inches of stitching missing where it is sewn around a window panel on a 1995 SL500. If I put some silicone in there, squeeze it together and let it dry will that suffice? I never take it out in bad weather so it would only have to survive the surprise shower. Is it best to just leave it as is?
