Just got a used CLK 230 Cabriolet, soft top has opened fine using the centre console button recentlybut triedlast nightand the windows drop automatically but then nothing else happens. The rear part of the hood should unlock to allow the rear part of the hood to raisebut it doesn't. Is there a missing interlock that's not being made that I am not aware of? Is there an interlock in the boot (trunk) ? The engine is running when I try all this and 'Park' is selected. Help!

 

What year and is it original battery?

 

you did extend that partition panel inside the trunk... did you?

the right side catch have microswitch. you hear the lick?

 

Also, make sure the deck (trunk) is closed. The top won't go down if the deck is open.

 

I have the same issue after my wife over packed the trunk. Can any body help. Micro switch is engaged and trunk is closed. When I pull up on the top switch after about 30 seconds it blinks slowly not like the blinking you get when the trunck is open.

 

Can some one help me?

 

I have the same issue. The trunk is closed with nothing in it, the parking brake is engaged, I opened the top/roof of the car, I pull on the button to open the top and the windows go down... but nothing happens. The button just blinks slowly.
