Car SL500 1992 has been in Storage Battery is Scrap new battery purchased buy before I go any further would I be right in assumming you have to perform the following operations

1 Reconnect Battery

2 Operate electric Windows Open then Fully Close Holding the window operating switches for appox 2 seconds in the fully closed position.

3 Remove Ignition Key form switch

4. Rewind the Soft Top back into its storage compartment ?????????????

5. Start up Car

6. Operate Roof Control Button

7. Roof Should Close and the System should now be reset and operate normally.

My Problem is were do you insert the manual roof opening Tool I have lost my Hand Book Please could some one kindly advise if the above is correct and indicate were and how to use the above Tool.

Dome lamp is the interior light or map light located between driver and passenger on ceiling or headliner.

There is no doubt we are divided by a common language english we over here would just refer to the Dome Light as The Interior Light.
