I recently bought a 1989 560 sl and I cannot get the center lock on the hard top to fully release? Is there a trick to this? All of the other locks work fine and the rear center clicks like it is releasing, but will only allow the hard top to come up about an inch and a half? The car is in great condition, except for this one issue? I would appreciate any and all help or suggestions! TKS

 

Turn the small silver handle under the main release handle fully opposite, that moves the pin back.
