Hi....I had to change my battery on a 2013 SL63 AMG...everything was fine, then I was told the engine computer had to be 're coded'. I visited my local MB dealership who informed that it would cost $200 for approx. 10 minutes work...!!!!!...Does anyone know how to 'Re Code" or where I could take it. I live in Southern California........any suggestions,.. ???

 

Hello and welcome to the forum! Take it to an indy shop; they essentially need to tell your computer that you have a new battery and have it 'registered'.
