do any of you use a code reader..?
if so..what kind ?
and where is the diagnostic connector port on a 2003 sl500..

i just like to know this stuff...my real love (other than cars ) is electronics.

I use a reader that works with a cracked copy of Carsoft software.Highly recommended. There are two basic versions: "multiplexed" and not. Both claim to be compatible with an '03, but only the more expensive multiplexed unit will work with your car's diagnostic port. The cheaper model can only read from the 38 and 16-pin ports of older models. The more expensive unit costs about $200 to $350, and the cheaper is about $100.
