I am new to the forum....Any help would be appreciated.....I have an opportunity to purchase
a 1992 500SL with 90,000 miles on it... I would not be getting it as a "weekend car" but
a car to drive back and forth to work on a daily basis (500miles a week).....Any suggestions?
I realize it is ultimately my decision but I thought I needed to get some input from people who
own one, have owned one, etc...Would this be a good idea.??? Bad idea????

wrong car for what you have in mind - if only because the gas costs alone will bankrupt you. it takes premium unleaded and gets about 18-20 mpg on the highway.
