Hi, Just joined this forum and I was trying to find something on ceramic brakes. I've been checking around and I found these Akebono ceramic brakes. Has anyone used ceramic brakes on a SL500? I have a '00 SL500 and I'll be needing new brakes. I've heard that they're better then original and that they don't squeal or dust as much. Would I need to get new sensors as well? Thanks.

 

I had those pads installed on my 95 SL320 and am very happy with them, only 12K miles on the Akebono ceramic brakes but so far so good!
