Default Ceramic vs Metallic Brakes

Brake warning appeared on the dash my 2006 CLK. Front rotors and all the brake pads need replacing. I would like to reduce the break dust. So I want to put on ceramic pads on the car. Is there any reason that I cannot put ceramic pads on this car. I was told that the ceramic pads will get too hot and warp the rotors. Is this something I need to worry about. If so i will go back with metallic brake pads.

Default Brake Pads

Hi, I have a 2000 CLK 320 coupe, and have used ceramics for years, no problem. They don't poop out all the black crud onto your wheels either.
