Thx for touching base. One last chapter on the central locking system's vacuum pump. I replaced it in March and it worked great until early June. All the locks (interior and exterior) fully functioned. I even discovered the center console and door compartments locked and unlocked. By mid-June however,the pumpfailed.I just got around to contacting the parts warehouse where I bought it and they are replacing it free of charge. I think these units get rebuilt, but they don't last long!
