ok the plastic idler pulley broke and broke the belt when the belt went the a/c fuse #17 7.5 amp that powers the climate control blew when i got home i replaced the fuse and my wife took the car last night an the fuse went out again i checked the a/c clutch wire to make sure no short it is ok any thought's on this problem

 

the fuse could have blown because of the compressor. A fuse shouldnt blow just because the belt fell off. Theres a reason the fuse is blowing. bad compressor? you say fuse #17? for the climate control pushbutton unit?
