My 2001 MB SL500 has a complete hands free system with now obsolete Motorola Timeport P 8097, Type ZFDA, TDMA Phone. Does anyone know how to convert this to a modern bluetooth system. Ideal would be a bluetooth adapter to fit in the same cradle, or at least in the same area, as the obsolete Motorola phone.

 

I found a solution as follows. After installation of the following three (3) parts it works perfectly with an iphone 3G. I threw away the TIMEPORT cradle and put the V60 adapter under the center console "floor". This frees up the entire center console for storage.
