<FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">I just bought a 97 SL320 Convertible Mercedes. On the way home I set the cruise control. Everything was fine until I needed to stop. It started jerking and when I pushed on the brake, it felt like I had accelerated. When I pressed on the gas, it wouldn't do anything. I pulled over to the shoulderon the side of theinterstate to regroup. The jerking felt like someone trying to learn how to drive a five speed for the first time. Has anyone ever had this probem? I would appreciate any advice.</FONT></P>
