When I hit the convertible switch to open, the driver side remains locked and won't release?
Is there a manual over ride switch or resetting? I disconnected the battery and no luck?
Anyone please help! Thank you.

 

While there is no manual overide 'switch', there is a manual process outlined very well with pictures in your owners manual...have one?

You'll need the tool from the tool kit that has an open end wrench on one end and a 5mm allen key on the other to manually open the latch...have one?

While you're at it, did you check to see if the hydraulic system is full/up to the mark on the fluid canister?

I just purchased a 95 E320. I put the top down today and when I tried to put it up, It started to make a noise, however, nothing happens and it is stuck. I have no manual. Is there a manual override or a method to get it back up before it rains tomorrow.
