Anytime battery power is lost, (batt change, lights left on, ect) the radio must be reset; anti theft system I assume. My previous dealer would have a technican do this reset in about 30 seconds, at no charge. My new dealer charged over $100. for the last reset. Apparently, MB has a special tool for this reset. Since this is not an uncommon issue, has anyone come up with a way to reset the radio without a trip to the dealer? I have never seen this"special tool", so don't know is it some wierdshape, or if the secret is knowing where and what to reset. Charges aside, it is inconvient to make a trip to the dealer for what seems to amout to a circuit breaker reset. Any sugggestions on how the "user" can do this much appreciated.Thanks.
