Replacing the Becker Grand Prix radio onmy 1989 560SL. I removed the heater control casing below the radio and released the metal tabs under the radio. The radio slides out almost all the way exept something is catching onback right side of the radio. Doesn't appear to be a cable Is there a special release/tool required to release the right side? I don't want to force it.

Also, does this model/year require a radio secuity code...will I need to key it in from the new radio? Thanks.

 

there is no radio code but a special tool that plugs in under the faceplate. as far as i know only dealer will have that.
