I am looking at an 84 500sl .It hasgot some body rust butruns ok.Two tops.Interior worn but ok.One spot on drivers seat is worn through.The owner wants 4K for it.I am pretty sure its the euro version due to headlights.Is this car worth the money? OH yea 125,000 miles </P>

Well it looks good . I had the guy I am buying it from put it up on his car rack monday to see how badsubframe was rusted. Surprise ! Subframelooked ok.Just rocker panels and other sheet metal rust .This is to be expected in the New England area(salt on roads during winter).Well I am gonna get it next week. I know its gonna need lots of stuff but to me its gonna be my baby.</P>
