Default 560SL Running rough - Fix before putting in storage or wait until spring?

My 87 560SL has been running rough - started misfiring this summer. I put it in storage each fall until the spring thaw in Ohio. Typically when I put it in storage I pull the battery and put fuel stabilizer in it. For the last 7 years this has been fine and in the spring it fires right up.

My question is should I have the problem diagnosed/repaired now and then put it in storage or does it matter if I just wait until the spring and then have it looked at then?

Any suggestions?

why wait until later for what you can frustrated over now...had similiar problem...replaced fuel filter and while there replaced fuel pump that was about 6 years old. no more rough idle and also ran "blaster" injector cleaner through a tank of gas..good luck!!!
