I am completely stuck here so any thoughts would be brilliant
I’ll start at the beginning.
I have a 380sl 1982.
started and drove the car about 200 meters it suddenly cut out so cruised to a stop, after about 5 minutes it started so carried on after about another 500 meters it did the same left it for 5 minutes and it started it did this twice more.
eventually it drove for about 10 miles where I parked it up. After coming back to it after about 2 hours it would not start at all so got a trailer and took it home.
so now it seems it has no spark and no power to the fuel pump, the fuel pump runs if I power it up from the battery.
I have changed the ignition module for a refurbished original one, I have also changed the Green cable from the distributor to the ignition module aswell, the coil has been replaced and I have also removed the immobiliser to rule that out aswell. I have checked the fuel pump relay and it clicks when turning the ignition so presume that is ok.
Still no spark and still no power to the fuel pump.
any help would be much appreciated as at my wits end!!
