Default 380sl climate control refrigerant change

has anyone changed the climate system AC refrigerant from R22 to R134a? If so what is the procedure? Also my AC label is unreadable, so what is the capacity of R22 in the system. I understand that a R134a switch is 80% of the R22. What lubricant did you switch to ? Any help would be useful. Better yet can I get R22? It would be much easier to just fill with original refrigerant.

you would be better off staying with the r12 rather than switching to anything else. yes r12 is still available and the oil is mineral oil. if your system is low there is a leak somewhere and that should be addressed.
