Hi, I need to replace the main engine bearings on my 1993 300SL and I was wondering if anyone knew if I could drop the oil pan and loosen the pistons and replace them without undoing the timing chain or moving the crankshaft. I am a college student who knows a decent amount on cars but not an expert by any means, if anyone knows if this is possible please let me know. Also, suggestions for places that carry quality bearings for cheap is much appreciated. Thanks, Danny
