2005 SL600 Renntech ECU upgrade?

Default 2005 SL600 Renntech ECU upgrade?
I have a pristine SL600 that I am considering upgrading the ECU and TCU to the RennTech performance package. They claim 745 lb feet of torque and 625 horsepower. Has anyone installed this and if so are the performance increases real and how did the changes affect every day driving and the tranny shifts?
