Hi guy's and gal's, as you probably know this is my first post. I'm considering a '99 500 SL with aprox 15k miles, car has panorama hard top, sport pkg, and a few other options, looks real clean and the price is $27k. can any one chime in and give me the pros and cons on thes car, I am not familiar with it.

I have been the proud owner of a 99 sl500 for over a year and have enjoyed driving the car daily. My experience has proved the carto be avery reliable and well built machine... and it is nice to walk away form a mustang now and again! As for price, sounds llike a good one... the nice thing is you can put another 100k miles on the car andmaintane much of your value for resell.

Just purchased the car it is silver, gray int. car looks brand new. lovin it so far

 

Over the past 25 years, I have owned a 1969 SL, a 1978 450SL, a 1986 560SL, a 1990 prior to my current 1999 SL500.

The 1999SL is by far the best of all.Ithas been trouble free and a great car to drive and own.

Just got my first MB last month! A 2000 SL500 Black Diamond Designo with 32K on it. Wonderful machine! Best car I've ever driven by far!
