I inherited a 1996 SL320 in fair condition. The rear view mirror is missing and a cheap $5 stick on is stuck on the glass and looks horrible. I have pieced together a mirror, but the connector is missing. I am looking for wiring schematics to tell me how to connect the wires. I have 2 wires from the glass and 5 wires from the bottom part of the IR receiver to unlock the doors, so a total of seven wires. The round connector jammed in the hole where the mirror snaps in shows 7 wires. I understand the 1996 year has a specific rear view mirror.

After many days and hours of searching I find someone with the same problem/question as myself and no surprise to me but there isn't one single reply. I also need to figure out where this 2 wire plug connects. Thanks for any help that can be offered.
