So my father bought a 1984 sl500 and now gave it too me, however I cannot seem to find the power steering reservoir to fill the darn thing. Im not really much of car savey guy when it comes to older cars and im already at a loss that everything is in german and the car never came with a owners manual (probably would have been in German too). Also does anyone know what type of power steering fluid is recommended for that year?

The steering pump will sit at the front right side of the engine, if standing in front of the car, and the reservoir sitting on top of it (~12cm in diameter). The oil specified in mine 450SL 1971 (w107) is "DEXRON II", but I guess that any hydraulic oil will work...
