1982 Soft top replacement....HELP

1982 Soft top replacement....HELP
We are replacing the soft top on a 1982 380SL. Just wondering if anyone could offer guidance it seems we are missing a part and the local dealer doesn't seem to be able to find it. On the old soft top it is glued to it. See attachment.
