I have a 1982 380 SL that I let sit for about 6 years....I am trying to get it started...I put all new spark plugs in it, bought a new battery, put new gas in, had the distributor rebuilt, put a new coil in it, new cap and rotor and it still will not start...There is no spark...the coil is working and the distributor is working....any ideas what it could be? The only thing left that I think it could be is the module......Please let me know if you have any ideas before I buy this module.

I just purchased the same car - I have not even tried to start it yet - pulled the gas tank - flushed - new accumulator, fuel filter, lines, pump (still waiting on delivery). Will flush the fuel lines (feed and return) from the distributor back. I have not even thought to start. Once I do I have new injectors and plugs to put in. also have a fuel distributor rebuild kit at the ready, should it not start or run well. - I also expect to have to go through the ignition system. I'm not sure what your problem can be but as I work though mine, I'll come back and share my issues.
