Default 1973 450SL M117.982 Engine Rod Bearings Loose

Help!! I've replaced the rings, crank bearings and rod bearings. The rod bearings have a slight play when I've torqued them to 45 nm (33 ft/lbs) and 90 degress for angle of rotation (all by the book). Surely there should be no play in the rod bearings. Will this happen if the rod bearing bolts are already stretched too far?

Thanks so much!!
