where does steering fluid go?
Hello, I got a 93 420 sel that is making some power streeing noises that sound like it's low on fluid... But I can't find where to check or add fluid. Can anyone tell me where it is? Thanks.
You can do one thing....
The serpentine belt drives the alternator,AC compressor, power steering pump and others.
The steering fluid tank on my 190E, 1991 is non-see throughand gray in color. You have
to remove the top cover to check the level; unlike other cars.

Syed

Front left side, grey with a small black cap open up the cap cover.. then you will see the level power steering fluid to fill up when needed.
*note: Use authorised power steering fluid or recommended suitable fulid for the p/steering .
