W126 update.
Finally!!!
I found a customization shop that can do anything I can think of to my W126. From full AMG conversions, with 18 inch rims, to more wood grain accents that I mentioned a few times in the past. Got my subs back hooked up and will probably go back to get the clear lamps (Just can't decide to get the rear clears done or not is what will take me a week to decide or they would've been done on the spot today.) And they also have a detail guy to get rid of all the stone chips and dings. (Body work prices vary here. One guy basically custom painted a 1998 era 5 seies for $500 and it's no shab job.
Climate controled seats will cost me around $1800 each including custom OEM like more deeply perforated leather so that it can work better than the ones that are in the new cars these days without ruining the quality and the oem heated seat set up that came with the car. (tax return project?). Or I could have the leather redone to look totally look mueseum like. $1800 each sound like alot, but in fact it cost that much just to replace the original leather for the front seats.
Sorry had to share that. I was begininng to lose all hope but the W126 560SEL is very customizable at least in Germany. Now all I have to do is order a new remote so I can use my cool remote start again. I miss that feature

Have you ever removed the rear power seat in ur car? Its way different than the 300sdl and dont want to mess it up. I wonder if sleep can get me a diagram. Thx man.

Ok i found something explaining it that i remove the 10mm bolts but that the seat was also held on with double sided tape (i guess to prevent rattling?) and takes a stong pull to free it anyone done this to confirm?
I would still like to see a diagram

Never had to remove them personally. And probably won't have to remove them anytime soon since they are basically perfect condition. But they have been removed before to run the subwoofer wires to the trunk and according to the people that ran the wires, it was a bia to remove and it did cost me more.
