Hi,
Please be kind, Iths my first post here, hopefully this is the right place.
Anyway, I have an 85 W126 500SEL, and I need to remove the 'subframe' holding the brake stabilaser bar ball joint. The problem is, on my parts car when I tried to remove them, the captive square nuts just started to spin, making removal fairly destructive. On my main car, i'd like to try to avoid this. Does anyone have any tips on removing them? It looks as if they've never been removed before, so I can imagine the nuts are pretty corroded.
The plan is to take the subframes from the parts car to my local engineering shop, to have the new joints pressed in, so my main car is off the road for a minimal amount of time.
Regards,
Ben

Spray a little WD-40 on the bolts for over tight and or bolts that haven't been moved in a while.
(Mechanic did this while removing the water pump. Last thing I needed was a broke and or stripped engine block bolt.)
