Default new purchase with squeaky ball joint

Hey Guys,
I just purchased a very nice looking 1991 300se the other day with 125,000.. what an awesome car. I have one slight problem/annoyence... the front left ball joint is squeaking (pretty sure its the ball joint )evey time a little bump its ran across, or even when i get into the car. I tried spraying some silicon down in there... but no help, is there a zerk or anything like that down there to get some grease or something in there? I saw there was a rubber garmet type deal.. maybe if i could remove that to get some silicon in there? I really don't want to replace the whole control arm for just a squeak, any suggestions? Other then that the car is in great shape and is like no other car I have owned before.

with 125 million miles on your car that squeak could be coming from anywhere down there ball joint, control arm bushings, brake strut bushings spraying wd40 down there isnt going to help anything. get it looked at by somebody.

Ball joints can berak and kill, the entire wheel assembly winds up in the fender well sending you face first into the nearest 18 wheeler or off a bridge.

May be a simple squeaky spring or bushing but this not something to play around with.
