starting problems for S-55 AMG

Why does this car only starts when it wants to? Bought it 2 days ago, new battery yesterday, and now i am stranded. Any help would be appriciated.

Your car has 2 batteries, 1 under the hood for starting the car, and one in the trunk for the electrical systems. Sounds like the battery under the hood is bad.
