Simple Solution To Complex Problem
Hi All
I have a 2004 S 430 4 matic with very low miles. Last year I started having an issue with the battery draining on an intermitent basis. I had the car to my Repair Guy. He spent hours and found nothing. He suggested that it might be that the car is no longer going into deep sleep
when shut down.
Last week the situation got worse, the car battery would g below starting level if I did not use it for 30 hours! In fact I had gotten home from a 300 mile trip and 30 hours later I wnet to start the car and nothing!
I tried something simple and I believe it worked! I took the cell phone out of the cradle! Two times since the car has sat for much longer than 30 hours and started fine! In fact this time the car sat for 87 hours without being started and started right up!
For all of you oth there with this same problem, I hope this works for you!
