Default silly question...s550

Can you guys lock the trunk...in the new S class? S550 to be exact...for valet?

I had a few luggages in the back one day...I had to valet the car....took out my blade key...but you can still open the trunk from the button of the electronic key and trunk button...is there a way to secure the trunk???

read the manual..but it not realy clear..it kinda jumps around the issue...

thanks

From what I can gather you are the only one here with an '07 S550 (I really wish I had one to so I could give you an answer). Many of us simply don't know.

I just checked my S430 manual. It reads "When the trunk is separately locked it remains locked when centrally unlocking the vehicle". "To deny any unauthorized person access to the trunk, lock it separately with the mechanical key. Leave only the electronic main key less it's mechanical key with the vehicle".
