move the seat in all directions to the fullest extent. seat back, headrest, cushion, up, down, then try the seat again. might have lost its normalization. if you need to remove the switch you must remove the wood trim around the seat switches on the door panel then you can remove just the portion with the switches on it. the whole panel does not have to come off.
