Default Resolving Codes 1999 S500

New to the forum, I've owned a 1999 S500 since 2001, it now has 318,000 miles, runs and rides great and I've kept it well maintained over the years first through the local dealership and then by an independent Mercedes repair shop.

In the past year my engine light came on and my mechanic tells me it will be more expensive to make repairs to the car to clear the codes than it is worth. The car really does run and drive great but with the check engine light on I am unable to obtain a clear emission test so I've had to park it.

I recently purchased an engine scanner and recieved the following codes, P0153 O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 2 Sensor 1), P0422 Main Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1) and P1519Right Adjustable Camshaft Timing Solenoid.

I've done a fair amount of research and I've decided to try and repair the car myself to get it back on the road, we've been together for a long time and I really love this car. I'm going to replace the camshaft timing solenoid, sounds like that part is not very expensive and fairly easy to replace. I also think I might replace the four oxygen sensors and then see how much it will cost to replace the catalytic converters but I've read that gets very pricy. Any other suggestions?
