I recently purchased a 1996 S320. It cmae with one key on a switchblade type IR remote. I can not get it to work. Any suggentions?

Also, and ideas where to get extra remotes/keys aside from a MB dealer?

One more thing......I would like to put a CD changer in the trunk. I found the connector and plugged in the CD player. The power is there, able to eject and install the CD magazine, but the radio does nothing when I push the CD button. Any help with this one?

the remote uses infrared. the reciever was on the door handle. make sure the connection on that one is okay.

look on the red window on the key inside a dark room (or clasp it with your hand), then keep on pressing on the button... see if it is flashing (which it should) a faint red light.

check the connections between radio and cd changer.
