Default Radio problems 91 560 SEL

Just bought this '91 560 SEL with the am-fm-cassette, I think it's model 1480. Anyways everything works except the right side speakers. I have adjusted the balance as per the manual, but still nothing. I can't believe all 3 speakers are bad. Any suggestions. Thanks, Bryce

Default

some radios come with a few bundle for the speaker wires Some are configured as, a plug for rear, front, subs. Others are configured right speakers and left side speakers. One pssibility is that you have the plug in for right speakers/left speakers and the ride side speaker plug wires is hot. It might just be unplugged, frayed or broken usuall near the connector.

Default 91 Radio, right side speaker out

Bryce: I am 6 months behind you. I just bought a 91 300SEL. Right side speakers are out. I pulled the radio and looked at the back, nothing loose. I pulled the console out and examimed the balance wheel. It appears fine. I know how to work the balance on the radio. The left side (driver's side) is fine. If I fade to the right side I have no sound. Its not the balance. What was wrong with yours?
