i have a friend here in the building that has bought a 1971, M-B 280S sedan, which has a BAD/unrepairable radiator.

does anyone know if the radiator off a '80s 300D, 123 sedan will work?
(i have one of those in storage that he can have, which looks about the same.)

if NOT, which one is proper?
(you can write everything i know about the gas models inside a "gimme" matchbook with a standard grease pencil.)
