Opinions/Advice on this listing!
I have been looking at the old 300d and 300cd because i need a strong reliable easy to fix daily, though i came across this 2000 s430
engine has 255k
transmission has 160k
it has a leak which is causing it to lock into the last gear it was in and the passenger front door mechanism is broke, also needs a new ac compressor
he has paperwork on engine work, pulleys and hoses and also on the diagnostic of the wet relays.
he states that most of the stuff is a easy fix and parts are easy to get and easy to work on. also told me once the relays are dry it runs smoothly.
he is only asking 1500 though im gonna try to get it lower.
any advice , pointers would be fantastic!
PS: currently going through the forums about the issues of the leak and door!

Hello and welcome to the forum! Before making any offers, get a PPI done on the car by an independent MB mechanic - this should give you all the info you'll need in deciding whether it's worth pursuing or not. Let us know if you have any other questions.
